The boy who carries your messages has a bullet in his head, no time to intervene. Try to find me at the cafe on our anniversary. Unforgettable, si? You had the badge but I had the bigger weapon. Nothing has every made sense again. Relocating, as always, is tedious but I can’t stop running and you can’t stop chasing. Can we even wish for a day when we will fight on the same team?

“Still reading her old letters?”
“Yes. Dad, when did Mom join the agency?”
“The day you were born.”
“I wish I had known her.”
Have a seat and join us at Friday Fictioneers. Our hostess, Rochelle Wisoff, will give you 100 words to create your own spy novel. This is a sequel for La Señora. You can read about that night here.

Hey! Good to see you hear. Mom definitely had her mind set on being an agent. Perhaps not having a child would have been in everyone’s best interest. Nice introduction to the story.

Love is love. It looks as though black hats and white hats face the same dangers. Even the CIA couldn’t protect La Señora.

I like how the story transitioned to her reading letters. Nice!

Interesting. Are these letters to her husband? Why join just as you have a baby?
You really have me thinking about this one.

Yes, letters between them when they were on opposite sides of the law. She wanted out of the cartel. It’s a work in progress that I’ve been toying with.

Querida Tracey,
I had to go back and read the first story. This puts me in mind a little of True Lies. Love it.
